		<description>This is a very helpful posting.  Thanks for explaining those two concepts.  Also I love the examples at end of the post where you describe adding a positive slant to our responses.
We really should be putting ourselves in their shoes and thinking how we&#039;d respond.  Yes, all our interactions with our aging parents and elderly people should be based in dignity and respect....that will guide our actions well.</description>
